HBC host West End Indoor Bowling Club (Southampton)
On Sunday 13 June Holsworthy Bowling Club welcomed West End Indoor Bowling Club for the first match of their Devon mini tour. Basing themselves in Illfracombe WEIBC will also play Bradworthy and Great Torrington. The Sunday was a beautiful day and the match was set up to be played with four rinks teams and two triple teams. Winners of Men’s NDTL Division 4 2018
SCBU Cheque Presentation 2018
On 11 October representatives of four local bowling clubs met at Bude, this year’s winners, and presented a cheque for £539 to Ian Roome of Over and Above, the fundraiser for SCBU. The unit looks after newborn babies, who need special care, from areas around each of the four clubs. The four bowling clubs, Bude, Stratton, Bradworthy and Holsworthy played each other on a home and away basis, with all monies raised being paid to The Special Care Baby Unit. Welcome to Holsworthy Bowls Club, a friendly club based in Stanhope Park, Holsworthy, Devon. We have six outdoor rinks, plus two short mats for the winter season. We are affiliated to Bowls Devon, Bowls England, North Devon & North Cornwall Short Mat Federation, and the English Short Mat Bowling Association.

Our modern clubhouse is equipped with toilets, changing rooms, kitchen, and seasonal bar. We run a full program of competitive and social bowling throughout the year, new members are always welcome, and we run weekly taster sessions for both lawn and short mat bowls according to the season.
