We are always keen to welcome new members to our Club. We have several categories of membership:

Membership is by invitation and anybody interested in joining should contact the club secretary – details on our Contacts page.
New Members are usually introduced to the Club through existing members and are expected to have a proposer and seconder (Membership is subject to approval by the Committee). Their proposer will ensure that they have the opportunity to visit the club to play at least one taster session and meet some of the members.
If you are new to bowls or to Holsworthy, we will invite you to some taster sessions and roll-ups prior to offering membership. We have all the equipment for you to use, though flat soled footwear and comfortable clothing will be needed.
The Club has many members who never bowled before joining, but who are now totally committed to the Club and its especially friendly atmosphere. Even if you have never played bowls before the Club would welcome you and assist in giving instruction and guidance to improve your game. We have qualified coaches available to assist you on a one to one basis.
Our taster sessions are normally Wednesday afternoons for lawn bowls and Friday afternoons for short mat bowls.
Please check the calendar as sometimes there are matches arranged on those days.
The Club has a code of conduct that all members are expected to adhere to. Many of these ‘rules’ are just common sense and you will find versions in existence at all bowling clubs.
