Charity Bowls Challenge
Holsworthy Charity Bowls Challenge Saturday 3rd August 2024 10.00 for 10.30 We invite local businesses, clubs, organisations or friends to enter a team of three players, have an enjoyable day and help raise funds for the RNLI. Monies raised (after deduction of prize money) will be donated to the RNLI. Give Bowls a Try
Give Bowls a Try at Holsworthy Bowling Club. Bowls is a social game and Holsworthy is a friendly club. Situated in Stanhope Park our greens are admired by many who walk past. It does not take long to learn the fundamentals of the game and like anything else improvement comes with practice. Holsworthy Ladies are Top Club Finalists.
Congratulations and very well done to our Ladies team who have qualified for the final of The Ladies Top Club. The match is due to be played on 5 September at Bradworthy in the Afternoon. They will welcome the support of any members who wish to cheer them on.
Scotty’s little Soldiers
£1,240 Raised for Scotty’s little Soldiers On Saturday 17 June. A record twelve teams entered this year’s Charity Bowls Challenge and helped raise a record £1,240. Organised by Holsworthy’s Mens Captain Dave Webb for a charity that is very dear to his heart. The day was sponsored by Mike Down Electrical Services with generous support from local businesses.
