Back to bowls Dear members Bowls England have issued “Return to Play” guidance rules, based on the ongoing liaison with the Government bodies. Step 1 commencing 29th March Outdoor bowls can resume with restrictions to groups of 6 unless an organised match. No access to clubhouse/buildings other than for use of toilets Step 2- commencing 12th April Bowlers will be able to use changing rooms, travel to local clubs and outside catering/hospitality is permitted. Welcome to our new web site. The green remains open until Saturday 19th September. Dave Webb has organised roll-ups for Wednesday 16th starting 5pm and Saturday 19th starting at 2pm. Covid-19 – Conditions of play from 24th April To ensure we are compliant with all the current regulations we have drawn up a set of guidelines and rules, specific for Holsworthy Bowls Club and it will be mandatory for all bowlers to follow these rules. Winners of Men’s NDTL Division 4 2018
SCBU Cheque Presentation 2018
On 11 October representatives of four local bowling clubs met at Bude, this year’s winners, and presented a cheque for £539 to Ian Roome of Over and Above, the fundraiser for SCBU. The unit looks after newborn babies, who need special care, from areas around each of the four clubs. The four bowling clubs, Bude, Stratton, Bradworthy and Holsworthy played each other on a home and away basis, with all monies raised being paid to The Special Care Baby Unit.
