Devon Section 1 “Over 60’s” Final
On Friday 27 August Holsworthy Bowling Club played Byeways Bowling Club of Fremington in the final of the Devon Section 1 ” Over 60’s ” competition. Byeways started the game well finding the correct lines and weight. Holsworthy kept on trying and eventually started to find a rhythm.
The game was pretty even on both rinks with 4 ends to go and then Holsworthy started to push on rink 2. On rink 3 Holsworthy were staying in touch with Byeways which meant Holsworthy were in with a chance of taking the victory.
Holsworthy were two shots up with one end to play and it was still all to play for. Either side could still win. Holsworthy secured victory with a two shot win in the final end.

Holsworthy win with +4 shots.
